The NSW Government released the amended the Public Health Order on Friday (click here), however with respect to the return to football please note the following:
– Blacktown City Council have not opened the grounds to participation sports
– Football NSW have not sanctioned football activity, hence if a player is injured or causes damage there is no insurance cover  

Football NSW is continuing to work with the NSW Office of Sport with respect to finalising the guidelines for the return to sport. It is expected that the guidelines will be completed this week and we will have a further update for you once they are known.
 
From that point the BDSFA will work with the Blacktown City Council as to when the grounds can be re-opened for participation sports.
 
This morning the BDSFA released its updated Plan of Management (click here). The document supersedes the previous advice and informs members of the different scenarios of competition based on a series of start and end dates.
 
A reminder for those that wish to de-register that de-registrations are open until this Friday, 22 May at 5:00pm. All details with respect to de-registration are contained within the Plan of Management.
